Mike Daly is an Australian
filmmaker who’s worked professionally as a
director, visual effects artist and video artist
in Australia and Europe.
He’s undertaken two postgraduate degrees at the 'Australian Film Television and Radio School' (AFTRS) and studied experimental film at the Berlin School of the Arts 'Universität der Künste' (UdK).
At the 2008 J Awards Mike won the ‘Australian Music Video of the Year’ award for his music video ‘2020’ for The Herd. His latest project is a new music video for the song ‘Would You?’ by Holly Throsby feat. Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy. He also writes for Lost At E Minor, an online publication of creative arts.
Mike is currently residing in Paris while working on a new project with New York choreographer Stephen Petronio and French contemporary dance company Ballet de Lorraine.
